a little bit retro

(Prada bag, Guess shirt, True Religion serena jeans, Dr. Martens shoes)
photos by Shintaro. thank you bro.

Ngee Ann poly is 50 years old this year and for the entire week they were celebrating it with everything old-fashioned like cotton candy stalls, playstation games, hopscotch etc. So Tuesday was some Retro Day thing at my school, where they encouraged us students to dress up according to the theme, 'Retro".

I guess I went with full denim with Dr. Marts, for that cowgirl look with an edge. Also tried putting on makeup, which usually turns out a failure because I can't put on makeup to save my life. I know it doesn't look much, but gosh, it took me about an hour just to put on eyeliner!!

grey.

(Topshop top, Victoria's Secret PINK bandeau, True Religion joey cut off, Prada shoes)
outfit photos by Ahmad my good friend

So it was an extremely hot day... And this was what I wore to school.
I have sensitive skin and sometimes the metal wire thing in a bra gives me very bad eczema/rash during super humid days, so I went with a simple bandeau tube under a loose sleeveless top.
Even if it shows, the contrasting colours of the bandeau and lace design makes it seem like I did it on purpose; not too slutty, not too revealing either. And I went with my Prada shoes to keep my entire outfit not too casual.

And here's a picture of me pointing a finger to my classmate, Daryl, cause he's just a hilarious fucker.

last friday:Victoria's Secret PINK pullover, Topshop skirt, New Balance sneakers
today: UNDFTD snapback, Victoria's Secret PINK crop top, Topshop skirt, Dr. Marten's shoes (please excuse my sinking sock)

Friday's look at King Albert Park on my way to have lunch at McDonald's before school.
The pullover was perfect for a warm humid day, it was so extremely soft and thin. Also, I received any compliments on my New Balance sneakers. I got it from P.V.S. at Cineleisure in late March I think, and I'm pretty sure it's a best-seller. And we all know, whatever that's from Cineleisure, it's likely to go mainstream. But I have to admit, it's one of my favourite pair of shoes because of it's bright neon colours and it is super comfy to jump around in.

Today I woke up and I just felt 'meh'. So usually when I'm feeling 'meh', I tend to dress darker than usual.
The UNDFTD snapback belongs to Eetang. I love it. It's from Cineleisure too, but they don't sell it anymore(huat ah). They didn't restock it, so I feel good wearing it, especially because it's somewhat special and of course, because it belongs to the man I love. I swear one day I'm gonna steal all his caps and his jerseys one my one.
The Dr Martens add a edge to almost anything I wear. And I am actually fine with the blisters it gives. It's my first pair of DMs and I think these are limited edition, but I'll do more research.

Anyway, right now I'm stuck in a lecture and my ass is gonna be glued to this chair for 5 hours straight. I feel quite 50/50 about this because I'm in a (kinda nice) lecture theatre while it's a bloody burning 32 degrees outside. And that's not the worst this week!!!
Argh, I love suffocating in heat...

poly-time

 photo IMG_1467_zps96cad3a8.jpg
I'm thinking of restarting ShopFC. Buying a domain, recreating the website, add a checkout cart and so much more. But the only thing stopping me is, will I commit to it? Especially since now I'm starting school, and the projects and sleepless nights are no joke. So I've decided to put it aside and see how things go.

Anyway, here's the design I did for Eetang and myself.

I've emailed a few companies already but sadly none of them does single printing and I am very upset! But I'm not giving up and I'll make some time to head down to Queensway. Hope I won't procrastinate on this.

School.

Everyone has mixed feelings and if you ask almost ANYONE what they're looking forward to, it's new friends. I have to be honest, I'm pretty nervous for school. But if I were to actually think about it, it's not about anything else but...screwing up. Like right now, school starts in less than 2 days, and I haven't got a proper pencil case or (heck!) even a single pen.

I'm pretty meh about everything that's happening in my life right now, I feel like everything is just swooshing by. I swear time flies terribly fast. I can't keep up. Everyone is all ready for poly, they got their shit together and I'm like, dafug is happening argh.

Poly is gonna be a fresh start, and with new friends, most people (even my friends) is turning into people they're not. I watch them turn into desperate popularity monsters. Personally, social status isn't a priority. Getting a diploma and/or degree is.

Readers. Friends. Freshmen. Please always stay grounded, and remember who you are. Don't give in to peer pressure or the desire to be famous or well-known. Because at the end of the day, it isn't the quantity of friends that matter the most, it's the quality.
